Get Started

The following sections will give you everything you need to get started building applications with the Appcelerator Platform.

This first step is to download the Appcelerator installer. After you have successfully installed Appcelerator, follow the instructions for getting started in the programming language of your choice: Java, PHP, Ruby on Rails, .NET, Python, Perl, and Google’s App Engine.

There are also SOA Integration Points available for Zend and Merb. These are not yet documented, but the existing documentation for these languages (PHP and Rails respectively) are mostly accurate for the additional platforms.
